We had a group of 18 and enjoyed the food and service at Lone Star! The servers are fun and attentive. The food was super tasty, and the portions were huge! Free tortilla and chips too! I ordered the beef taco bowl. Just enough spice with seasoned beef, beans, rice and lettuce and you get to eat the bowl too!

It was my birthday! The server, Cactus, was truly amazing and accommodating. Cactus made us feel like important guests at his place, not like some customers obligated to be served. The atmosphere was very friendly and there was an area to seat large parties of people. Family friendly and a lot of fun but can and has been a great place to hang out with friends. Great selection of cocktails, wines, and beers. The food was great. I had chicken enchiladas with broccoli and rice. All of it was great, and the price was fair, considering the substantial quantity of portions. This is easily one of the all-around best restaurants to experience in Ottawa.

I go to Lone Star Baseline with my Dragonboat Team and we LOVE it there. The staff Coyote, Rebel, Longhorn, Jasper and others are fantastic servers. Get the table side guacamole!!!! You will thank me later! I promise.

This is the only food (crispy shrimp tacos) that I get from this restaurant and might be the only one for a while. I go here every time I crave tacos and I'm never disappointed. I love the chips and salsa too! The service providers are lovely. I've had a good experience every time except for the one weird time; however, the good outweighs the one bad experience. I'll definitely visit again.

We had the opportunity to eat at lunch. The food was excellent and served warm. I took half a rack with chicken wings which was succulent. I really recommend it!

Uncle Buck was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, he took such great care of us—kind, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive. You can tell he genuinely cares about what he does and the people he’s helping. We felt looked after the entire time, and he went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. Can’t recommend him enough—thank you, Uncle Buck!

Went for lunch on a Saturday so it wasn't very busy and we had great quick service. Started with a lime Marguerita and natchos. Had the duo chicken and steak fajitas. It was delicious and even had some left over. Had the Key Lime Cheesecake for dessert which two of us enjoyed and the other two didn't like it at all. Just would have been nice to have a coffee with dessert but they don't serve it at that time of day! Will definitely go back or do take out.

You can go to any Lonestar in the city and get the same good food, but the difference here is the service. Ask for Sweet Pea, she is hands down the best waitress I’ve ever had. I will go out of my way to come to this Lonestar specifically for her service in the future and advise the same.
